Concept

The beginnings of my independent study from last term. I thought about what an iconic car of the future could be and how we might start shifting our view of cars from doing minimal damage to our environment to actually start helping it.

Thus I came to the conclusion that the theme should be leaves and foliage and started doing some abstract theme sketches.

Rickshaw Yeehaw

Some photos of the Honda sponsored project

Designed a public mode of transportation for Malaysia that focuses on efficiency and a unique experience utilizing Honda's wide range of products and technologies.

My design is a new interpretation of the traditional Asian rickshaw and uses a modified ASIMO platform to pull the passenger pod. It also is an interactive chauffeur for the passengers.

The pod also detaches and becomes part of a coastal commuter designed by Jason. For his project, check out his blog.

The bottom style is different from what I'm used to doing and used very little gradient and a lot of "paint bucket" because I got a little "bored" with what I was doing in class...
